About Us

Bells Island Campground is located in Currituck, NC and is conveniently located centrally between
the Outer Banks of NC and Virginia Beach, VA. Our campground offers a quiet setting where kids
play in a safe environment and a family setting and has done so since 1963. The main theme of
our campground is water related activities. We have a pier for fishing, crabbing, or just relaxing in
the sun. Our boat ramp is included with your stay. We also have a tennis court, volley ball area and
sound/lake swimming. We are located on Currituck Sound and about a 20 minute boat ride from
Corolla. The Currituck Sound ferry is 5 minutes away.
We offer shaded RV sites with 30 amp and 50 electrical, both full hookup and water and electric
sites, and tent camping is also available. We pride ourselves in having a safe, clean, and well kept
campground. Whether you're here to relax, enjoy the water, or just traveling through, we're sure that
you will enjoy your stay. Reservations are encouraged, especially during the summer months.
