All different types of  water sports can be done right off of Bells Island,
swimming, boating kayaking, canoing,clam digging, fishing, bird watching  and
much, much more... OR you can sit at the waters edge, while your children play
safer in the shallow waters of the Sound.  It is an ideal spot for just relaxing and
while being close enough to several restaurants and stores with everything you
will need for your camping pleasures.

Fish the Sound, Bells Island Campground has a boat ramp and pier for your
enjoyment and use.  Remember proper fishing licences are required..

BELLS ISLAND CAMPGROUND
If you have ever visited the Outer Banks, or the
coastal waterways of North Carolina then you
know the splendor of their waterways.  It is the
home for many area and migratory birds of many
different species and many other types of
animals.

Osprey and hundreds of other species nesting
throughout the shorelines and in the trees which
overlook the Sound.  

There are Otters swimming the mussel beds,  
and all the fishing and crabbing you could want.  
Come see what you take back when you leave.
